    Hi

Is it true that AA1 doesn't have traditional pc speaker built-in? Or am I missing those beeps?

    Thanks

It depends on the OS you are using to some extent. Some distros do have sound problems. But it may be that you just need to Open your volume control select options. Then decide which setting gives the best results. Also you may have to go into your configuration and select the proper sound system from the drop down list testing to see which works best.

Ummmh. "Normal" sounds work just fine. I have 150 with XP as OS. Wonderful computer by the way.

I mean those oldiegoldie PC speaker beep sounds. Those sounds that doesn't need any sound card... Haven't yet been able to create a beep with this one. I would use it for example as Skype incoming call sound (can't hear it from headset).

When I tried Puppy Linux on my One and it didn't load the sound driver properly it would give me those old-style PC speaker beeps in the terminal, but not after I load the sound driver properly.

I found running alsamixer from a terminal window and cranking up the volume on every device to max let me hear all the beeps. YMMV, depending on which distro you're using.
