No Local Internet with Acer Aspire on Windows XP

    Can somebody help me

    Ive installed windows xp on my acer aspire one. Made it faster with some programs. I installed all the drivers.

    But if i put the internet cabel in, i get no connection. WIFI works very strange.

    Every drivers are installed.

    So if you plug the LAN cable in, you don't get Internet access from your provider? Are you getting an IP from your cable modem/provider?

    what do you mean, wifi works very strange?

    WIFI WORKS FINE!!!!!!!!!

    But i got 2 laptops i got internet on the other laptop but not on the Acer Aspire one same internet cable.
