No Mouse on 751

Hi, just got my 751h for spares but it works even the bloke said it didnt so quite happy about that, but however the mouse doesnt work, doesnt even get recognized in device manager nor does the bios come up with Mouse Initizialized when starting it up? Does it simply need a new mouse and if it does, does anyone know where i can get 1 or have 1 for sale as i cant seem to get 1 from ebay?

Just a hunch, but as it was sold for parts there is a good chance it has been opened before. If this is the case the ribbon cable that attaches the mouse to the mainboard may be loose or disconnected. To check this simply take the keyboard out and check the mouse ribbon cable that runs from the top bezel, this is the one to the left of the keyboard cable.

Make sure you turn off netbook disconnect power and take out battery first.
