I have a Acer One ZA3 that now says 'No Operating System' when i boot up. This happened after i did the alt+f10 recovery. I tried the recovery a few times but it still says 'No Operating System' when i boot.
    Any help would be appreciated

Sounds to me like the partition that held the recovery system was somehow corrupted and so your alt+10 recovery wiped the drive but didn't put anything on it. To test this try booting from a Linux Live CD or Live USB drive, then you can look at the built in hard drive and see if there is any thing on it or if it is not available to look at you can try looking at it via gparted (a Linux partition manager) and if it doesn't see the drive I would think the drive has died.
