I bought a mini pci-e to sata/usb card... wired it up n slapped it in. But my AAO 110 won't boot with the card plugged to the sata hdd. I notice the hdd is not spinning up either... any ideas? Do i need to short a jumper to get power on the slot?

I pulled the power from here http://www.flickr.com/photos/tnkgrl/298 ... 718788110/ but now I have a problem... the hdd is not recognised. Realtek goes to its pxe-e61 media not found error... did I wire something wrong?

The SATA/USB to mini pci-e card am using list the SATA pinouts as:

    1: B+ TX+
    2: B- TX-
    3: GND
    4: A- RX-
    5: A+ RX+
    6: GND
    7: +3.3V

On the pinout for SATA in your guide I see:

    1: GND
    2: D1+
    3: D1-
    4: GND
    5: D2+
    6: D2-
    7: GND

    I wired it up as D1 to A n D2 to B leaving out the 3.3V.

    Am I missing anything here?
