My A150L from Laptops Direct came with a sleeve :)

...Handy for keeping it clean, but i'm not sure it'd bounce if you get what i'm saying

I got a sleeve with mine, from Dabs, but as lotus49 says, it not very good. In fact the One doesn't even easily slide into it because it's so flimsy.

I might get this case from PDair (also available under other brand names)

Ventilation may be impaired with just the scanty little holes on the sleeve's bottom side. Also the already noisy fan (in some cases anyway) as to spin even faster with the heat buildup. The One ought to be operated without a sleeve on.

In the shop they were trying to convince me it didnt came with a sleeve, and talk me into an alternative non-branded bag.. As stuborn as I am, i was pleased to find a nice sleeve inside the box.

I guess it realy has todo with the release shipment.

    Cheers,
    Tony

No sleeve in mine too, bought it in the Netherlands.
The store (paradigit) sold me a separate black sturdy sleeve with it. I don't mind to much, because I will transport my one with books in in a rucksack most of the time anyway. This way I don't have to be too careful. I even made it waterproof (just to make sure), you never know what weather you will get into on your bike.

It may be just as (if not more) important that the rucksack itself is water-proof, since excessive moisture arguably does as much damage to books as much as it does the One.

Yes, True. I am still working on that. But if I know it going to rain I put my books and One in a plastic bag anyway. But for surprises spells, I like to have more protection for my One then for my books. (books are usually cheaper)

What's ironic is that waterproof rucksacks may be way more common and cheaper than dedicated A-One sleeves that are also waterproof ;)
