No sound device installed

    Can't play any music in Windows Media Player-just comes up with an error as per the title. I'm presuming I need to install a driver but which one. It beeps at me etc so it's making some noise! Recently installed XP by the way.

    Is there any sound at all?
    If you boot or shutdown your Aspire One does it play the little song? Does a speaker in the system tray appear?

    No sod all-but I've managed to sort it in another section. Thanks anyway. Had to download something.
