No touchpad after bootup

    Tried searching on this topic to no avail.

    Just got an AAO D150 (160gb HDD, 6 hr batt., XP Home w/SP3). OEM touchpad driver is Synaptics 12.2.2.0, Feb 2009.

    Touchpad hasn't worked at all . . . ever. Am using a USB mouse which works fine. I need the touchpad to function, though. I'm at a loss as to the possible cause.

    Thanks for any info you can spare.

    Have you tried Fn + F7??
