No wifi when on battery power

    I have the XP 120GB version.

    I can only get on the internet (via WIFI) when I am charging the battery. As soon as I take the the pluugout and the AAO is on battery power, the internet becomes very slow and often says that the page cannot be displayed.

    I have used the internet while on battery power inthe UK, but now I am in the middle east it doesn't work (only sometimes).

    Any tips on how I can sort it?

    try updating to newer Atheros driver and disable the power savings option in the driver properties (set to Normal/Off from Maximum)

    Mmmm. right, sorry I am not an expert on computers. Hoe do i update the Athernos driver?
