not asked for password???

    Hello, just found this site and loving it!!, any way, have been using my A1 for a few months now and am trying to upgrade to get VCL loaded, got the advanced mode up and running ,but then it asked for my password...mmmnn was never asked for password when i set up the A1 , now if i go into settings to the password icon i am only asked to change password, not crate a new one. so now im stuck with it asking for a password that was never put in. any ideas anyone???????

    Try this
    in terminal type:
    sudo su (enter)
    passwd (enter)
    then it will ask you for a new one. Type it in once then it will ask you to confirm, it will not show on screen
    Above all use the search facility this has been answered many times!
