Third Mini PCIe was an add on card over the memory module and wired into the PCIe bus from the daughter board cable.

Yes, you can boot from SD card I believe on the AOA150.

Hi JerryT, any information on how i can do that ?

i have tried to insert the memory cards into both the memory card drives and check for the boot device list(F12)
but with no luck. Any information on how i can get the memory cards to be detected in the boot menu ?

I'm looking for info on upgrading the speakers if anyone has what works well please post details. Best info I can find which sadly is out dated and I can not find the speakers mentioned.

I have a idea that may work. I have a pair of powered speakers that may fit in the oem location and be able to fit the amp with it that can be powered off a USB connection after I remove it from it's oem speaker case of course.. If I am no mistaken their is a unused USB connection on the main board that I could use. Please post details on how to find it and use it and I will try and hard wire in inside the case...take pictures and make a how step by step and post it.

 

Hello everyone. Ive got a aod250 and I want to do upgrade 3g internal modem. I have a internal card Huawei em770. I soldered sim slot card. I installed antenna. I made the switch to can active 3g module, the led is coming up. One problem I have. When I open the program Acer 3g conection manager it tell me no sim card detected or invalid. Someone can tell me where can be the problem. Thank you very much.
