nti media maker8 not working on acer aspire 7736g

    hi,iam on a windows7 acer aspire 7736g,64bit laptop.when i click on nti media maker8 the home page comes up but when i click to make an audio cd or any thing else nothing happens,i have tried system restore and acer erecovery to reinstall the nti media maker driver but a message comes up saying-Set up launcher not working,please,can any one help?batts99
