i hope they do have a larger battery but without increasing the overall physical size of it...

 

The bigger battery is physically bigger (assuming you mean the six cell unit).

im gonna get my AA1 when everywhere is in stock and it has all sorted itself out.

i think its wiser to get a slightly more 'mature' netbook, after all the initial niggles have been sorted out.

just my $0.02

 

None of the current models have a 6-cell battery

 

Note that according to Acer you cannot upgrade the memory without invalidating their warranty (so why do they say that you can have 1.5GB??).
