We've had our One for about 2 months, and today I can't get it to boot up. The power light turns green, but even the battery light doesn't come on. The screen stays black, not even lit. I can't turn it off without disconnecting AC and battery. What can I do?

The same thing happens without battery power. Just the power light. No screen, not even external. I can hear the fan, but that's about it.

Did you take the battery out as Grim Squeaker and Conner pointed out? This has been happening to several people in the last few days.

Yes, I've tried every combination of battery and AC power, to no avail.

What BIOS number do you have? Hopefully someone else will jump in...

Can I find that out even if the screen won't display anything?

Update the BIOS. search the forum for Macles, he operates a blog that has solid instructions on how to do it. It happened to me, and flashing the BIOS solved my problems.
