I found out that my AAO1 has only 3,4 Gb available memory of SSD, and 6,4 is busy. Why so? It is said that AAO1 has 8 Gb. Does Linpus hold 6,4 Gb???

Linux needs space, apps need space, and (if I remember correctly) 1gb is allocated for swap space.

Sounds about right. You can free up a significant amount of space by getting rid of fonts for languages you don't use.

Is there a list of fonts that are "safe" to remove? I started down this path, and if my foggy memory is correct, I got some warning messages about required fonts (even for Indian fonts such as Bengali, Gujarati, and Hindi), so I chickened out.

If you are looking for extra disk space why not remove all the GB`s of demo games that you do not need. ;)

I don't remember any warnings, but IIRC they were listed as "languages" or something similiar.
