Open office ver 3.1 icons

    Just installed ver 3.1 using procedure in Macles.
    My icons have vanished and do not appear on desktop.

    Can you help please

    same problem,
    when i open the desktop xml file everthhing looks to be in order with the <app lines having open office 3.1 writer in it all fine...
