Can someone tell me how to "automaticaly" open a window (WinXP-SP3) so that its fill the LCD widesceen? I know I can display "full-screen" with F11, or hit "maxamize" but I'd like this to happen automaticaly whenever a window appears. Same question for both resident apps and for browser downloads. I thought there'd be an option for this somewheres, but can't find one.

    Can someone please help?

Pretty sure the option is set from within each program. For example if you maximize Internet Explorer, then do a File > Quit. The next time it starts it will be maximized. Some programs have this feature, others have manual (internal) settings, and others don't remember at all....
