Openoffice 2.4 problems after installing

    I used macles guide to installing openoffice 2.4, the installation went fine but now i get a message saying "/home/user/%U does not exist" at startup of openoffice, What does this mean, and how do i fix it?

    Also, if anyone could provide the original acer icons for writer and such .

    I am grateful for every reply : )

    I did this and it worked perfectly.

    Also...

    After the entire guide, you will have the icons restored.

    ah, i kinda missed that part, i works fine now.

    But i installed some other stuff from add programs, and it deleted my icons :|
    Anyone care to upload the standard openoffice icons?
