Sorry, I forgot to upload the unicows.dll file; now the package should be ok.

Hello to every one...I installed the utility and it works in bios 3.3.0.8 and 3.1.1.4
The main problem is that the fan when working is too noisy-much more than without using fan control...
I also get the acpiec patch message on every reboot...
Is there a way to control the speed of the fan?

    I have a AOA110 with BIOS 3309.

So far the value I found was:

0x00 for Auto, although when I read back the register it reads 0x02?
    0x13 for slow
    0x25 for very slow
0x30 for off, I think it is off since I don't hear anything.

Will experiment more when I have time, (if you have value to share, I will happy to test)

    Cheers,

    HVL

    Hello,
Do you think this software will work on my Acer Aspire S3

    From the following post http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=4657451#post4657451

I understand that editing the 0x93 key with the following value set to manual or auto mode,
    AUTO - 0x04
    MANUAL - 0x14

And editing the 0x94 key from 0x00 to 0xFF (0xFF min vs. 0x00 max)
    Change the speed.

Is it possible to do this with this software ? how ?

    Thanks
