Opera as Torrent client

    Can i use Opera in Linpus as a Bitorrent Client? meanning like uTorrent?

    In principle yes. However, while Opera is probably the best browser available to date, it's also a rather weak torrent client. I know several torrent sites which (attempt to) filter out connections from Opera.

    I'd suggest deluge or transmission.

    Deluge or Transmision... sorry, those are Bitorrent Clients, and if they are you have any instruction site to install them on my Linpus?

    Yes, both are excellent torrent clients, and both are available through the package manager.

    Either open the 'add/Remove Software' tool from the menu, then search for 'Transmission' or 'Deluge' and click to install
    or
    Open a Terminal and type (without quotes)"sudo yum install transmission" or "sudo yum install deluge"

    done.

    The problem with deluge is that the version available through yum is, I think, 0.5.7 whereas the current release version is 1.1.0 - that's a pretty big difference! Does anyone know where to get a more recent version?
