    Re: OS x 10.5.6

    What's fixed: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3194

....including improvements when roaming in large wireless networks with an Intel-based Mac.
This was described in a leaked developer note on the 9G52 seed as:
    - Fixed issue with AirPort Drivers and “off” setting

    Umm, why is Apple saying 10.5.6 Update 372MB, 10.5.6 Combo 71MB ...

    update is 327
downloading from software update not to test iatkos v5's claim that updates are pain free

    Re: OS x 10.5.6

Just about all the kexts need to be installed again. You'll have to use a USB keyboard and mouse to install the PS2 kexts to get those back to start.

EDIT, as I now have complete success.

I reinstalled all the old kexts (from sbm's install intructions page) and I'm back to normal again with the 10.5.6 update on a boot-132 method install.

It took me a few tries to get everything installed - if a device didn't work, I just installed the kext for that item again until everything was working.

So... what's the kext for internal keyboard and trackpad?
ApplePS2Controller.kext? I tried that many times... no luck...
    Still no Keyboard and trackpad

Notes at http://netkas.org/?p=78 might be useful for some ppl.

Also those of us who are enjoying speedstep, hyperthreading, thermal-control. etc
with the FinalRelease-v1.0 VoodooXNU-9.5.0 kernel may just put this update on hold...

BTW: when I install Chameleon I saw possibility to put some extra kext. I don't do that but... As I read about installation (by Munky) of additional kext on hidden and not used by Apple OS EFI partition I think that is the same solution -- All kext are installed outside OS in folder called extra. So we have vanilla installation (maybe audio still need patched files). If we install kext in to system folder we don't have vanilla install and we must change kexts.

But I don't try this. I only suppose. If any one could correct me it would be great:)

You able to download, expand and install a .dmg file?? My Kalyway 10.5.6 will have a kernel panic (voodoo release) if I do this. Also missing trac pad settings in the mouse preferences. Everything else seems to work after replacing the kexts.
