Tried it, caused a kernel panic. The fix there addressed the issue of the wired and wireless NICs not starting correctly.
To be honest, I'm pretty sure PCI Bus is initialized correctly, at least using the MSIWindOSX install.
I'm replying to this post using Ethernet port on my A1 right now, after installing standard drivers by RealTek.
This, with the fact the stevejobs managed to get WiFi working easily just by swapping cards tell me that we just have mere driver issues for LAN.
Same goes for the SDHC slots. We need something that supports JMicron SD Host controllers. I know nothing about how that really works though.
As for sleep, EHCISleepEnabler seems to be not enough. Let's hope that a BIOS mod fixes it. Can the person who posted to Kabyl's page ask him to just focus on making sleep work and tell him that the machine reboots on wake?

    Thanks!

Nice grabejud! I plan to get my mods rolling when I get back from vacation on Monday. Till then I've been thoroughly enjoying my One on this break. It's come in so much handy and is really good at picking up various wireless signals. I'm pleasantly surprised. I may be hitting you up for assistance after I install my 60Gb zif HDD as I'd really just like to have it on OSX.

I bet it's not long till apple release their own netbook, basically just fold up a MacBook air, and make the screen smaller.
But anyway, I've still got leopard running from my external hdd, but no WLAN or sound.
Ah well, still waiting for a reply from the bios modder.

Have you tried using ALC268FIX, as suggested by Reamers in an early post to enable sound? That fixed up sound really nicely. The only problem with it is the Mute/Unmute hotkey doesn't work, but at least Volume keys is retained.

Also, as anyone gotten the SD slots to work? And how?

Did that (restoring the MSIWindosx86.iso to a USB hard drive), but the One will not boot on this device. I only get a blinking text cursor and nothing happens. Where can I get OSXtools, and would it solve my problem? What have I done wrong? Thx!

EDIT : I'm using a Mac Mini running Leopard 10.5.4 for this.

Has anyone tried these instructions to get the wireless going? They're written down for a PCI ExpressCard..
You might need to enable the interface in your network settings.

This worked for me, although my sound input source is set to "Internal Speakers" (and there is no other choice).

I ran installer1 then installer2 , then used Kext Helper b7 to install AppleHDAEnabler.kext. In that order.
Don't know if that makes a difference, but hope it helps.
I have both internal speakers and headphones for output, but have to switch manually between the two in Preferences. Kinda annoying,

Sorry, built-in mic doesn't work with this, it seems. No Skype :(
Probably Bluetooth headset will work though. I'm using Kensington USB micro-dongle. Barely know it's there.
    I'll try that later.

    Ok, I have some news.

I have an Apple TV set that is wired, no wireless connection needed for me. So why not take it out and try it on the AOA110? Ok, the wireless card is a mini-PCI-E so shoud fit. And further more, the model is a Broadcom BCM94321MC, the same model shipping in the MacBook Pro. So with the original IO80211Family.kext should work... and it does!

So now I have a new wireless card in it, and have recevied from a friend of mine some tips on the original wireless card, an Atheros 5006x. I have a link where you can download it and test for yourself (read tha instrunctions carefuly!)
    http://www.mac.com.pt/downloads/atheros_5006_aoa110_testphase1.zip

So all I am missing now is my new Toshiba HDD that shoud arrive any moment, so I can go ahead and test sound and card readers.

Please post back with your results on this Atheros 5006 driver I just gave to you. Thanks..

    Marcel
