Hey guys, has anyone done any hacking with the synaptics/other software to REALLY unlock the trackpad on our AA1s? I'd love alternate gestures, ie. two finger swipe in the non trackpad areas (rightside and bottom portion of pad, for scrolling) for alternating programs, etc etc
    Any possibility?

You can already use two finger swipe with the newest driver.

A110 and A150 have the same touchpad thus XP drives are compatible with both models.

I installed the update. No other gestures. Surfed through the synaptics menus, no options for swipes. this driver was from a thread as of march of this year-has a NEWER driver been released? Y'know what, can one of you link me to what is the latest synaptics driver?
    Thanks

I got 'em working. OS X ain't got nothing on us! Now, for the biggie: any way to hack flicks gestures to switch between open programs, a la OS X?

You can probably get the gestures working by running the OSX inside a virtual machine, but that would be too much of a hassle and not worth it.

yeah, I don't want OS X itself, but that functionality would be nice

if you just want to functionarlity, what you can do is to map a specific area on the touchpad just to switch between opened program.
You can also use alt+Tab keyboard shortcut. Alternatively, if you want Vista's 3D switching, you can download a program called "Winflip" which will do just that. You can map an area of the keybboard to automatically apply the shortcuts.
