    Hi!
Personally i wouldn't try, i have the same one, the only difference being Vista home basic and the stock 3 cell battery..
yesterday i enabled Vista Aero, and it really slowed me down,,,
I havnt overclocked anything yet, but i would say make sure you have full ventaltion around the bottom of the laptop, keep it plugged in, and use a fan speed program, there was a topic on here a while back showing a fan control software, but i cant find it.

    I hope this helps you,
And please, i am not responsible if your lappy breaks ;) ,
    Daniel :)

    Midlandknight,
Sure you can OC your 751h. Plenty of people here doing it. I myself have done it just for testing, as I really dont need the extra horse power. I do remember it gave a significant increase when benchmarking.

What you need to use is SetFSB, a small software utility that will allow you to change your Front Side Bus speed. This is the clock frequenzy that is multiplied up to get the 751h's 1.33 MHz.

There are plenty of threads on this forum explaining the process. Type setfsb in the search box and they will pop up.

This one gives an excellent start:
    http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=16793&p=99777&hilit=setfsb+pll#p99777

Remember, the version of set SetFSB you need to use is the .88
    The PLL is ICS9LPRS365BGLF.

Increase the slider small steps at a time to see if the system is stable. I think most can manage 1.45 GHZ easily but 1.6 will most likely be unstable.

The 751h has an excellent fan control built in that will protect your netbook as far as the fan is able to cool. The reason people use other software to interfere with the fan is because they want their netbook to be quieter, aka less cooling. Some also believe it makes their freezing less occurant, but that is an other discussion.

Do a search, read through, try and experiment, a benchmark is good for monitoring the performance increase, and enjoy.

    Good Luck.

I often use SetFSB if I'm doing something intensive, like using Photoshop.

Never had a problem, but the version I have got (and it was the only one to work properly) doesn't end in .88, my version is 2.2.115.87
