HI, I got compiz a few days ago on my AAO 110L, and after some options change, and some reboot, i realized some panel trouble.see this
    [IMG]
there's some border under every icon and over the clock.
can you help me, is there any compiz options\plugin that caused that?
I have turned to xfce desktop and i've installed cairo-dock.this is my desktop, if it can help you:

Yup, mine does the same, and I have basically the same setup as you...xfce desktop and cairo dock. I think the icons just get confused (esp. when coming back from suspend). It just comes and goes. If it helps, you get used to it!

i think it isn't caused by cairo dock, because I didn't see it just installing it...i think it could be some options of compiz, do you have it running?
    sorry for my english

No, I don't think it's caused by Cairo Dock. I think it's just that compiz is so hungry that it makes things a bit buggy. I sorta got fed up with compiz effects recently because they were slowing my internet browsing down, so I stopped auto-starting it, and I haven't had my issue with the icons again.
