Hi all, new to this forum, I'm a former eeepC user and switched over to Acer due to price and screen size.

I'm installing XP on my Acer and noticed that there is a 6.6GB partition and a 1.2 GB partition, I formatted the 6.6 GB partition as per instructed in another thread and installing windows XP on that partition. What is the 1.2 GB partition for? is that the restore disk? can I format that partition and use it with windows? If I need to restore it back to factory, it does come with the DVD Restore discs. Please advise.

    Thank you.
