Just got a new 10.1 Acer with 160 GB drive. I tried to partition the drive with Partition Magic 8.0 and get the following error. "Int Failed: Error 117. Disk Drive cannot be identified". Looking at the disk, I have a partition labeled PQSERVICE and it is 6.01 GB . C Dr is 143 GB. PQSERVICE which is 1st partition on drive is a EISA configuration and according to Norton, this is the cause of the init error. Partition Magic cannot identify the 1st section of the C drive as it has no letter ID. I really don't want a 140+ C drive and want to carve it up into smaller drives. Anyone have any idea as to how to get around this problem? Thanks in advance....

I have made the recovery disks. Can I now wipe out that PQService partition and how do I do that if Partition Magic will not work? This may be my 1st and last Acer......
