Password Problems

    Hi

    Just got a Acer Aspire One with the Linux Software.

    Want to enable the password to prompt user to enter it before they can use the Netbook.

    I'm going via "Settings" and "Password", and it's asking me to "Change Password" although I have not set one, hence I dont know original password and manual doesn't mention one.

    It doesn't prompt me for one when starting up.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey,
    Linpus never asks the password on startup, unless you tell it to do so. If the first time when you booted it up, it didn't walk you through a setup, that means someone did it already.

    My recommendation is to do a recovery.
