Password wrong

    HELP PLEASE! I have the Acer Aspire One Netbook and out of nowhere it won't let me log in. Either in my account or as Admin. Keeps telling me my password is wrong. I've had the same password since I got it 8 months ago. Called tech support, was told to ship it and pay $99 and they'll "look at it". I don't want to pay AGAIN to ship it and have them look at it. When I got it it was dead. Had top have them fix it from day one. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

    If in fact you're using the right password, try rebooting, pressing F8 repeatedly to get the Safe Mode screen, and select "Last Known Good Configuration" It might cure it. Some googling suggests that if the password is not in fact right, it will be difficult. Good luck.
