I just got my acer and not sure if this is normal or not. When working if I move my screen past 100 degrees the computer shutsdown. Is there a configuration that would keep this from happening? Help please

Go to the control panel, click on the power options icon, then choose the advanced tab, then look at "power buttons", on the one that says "when I close the lid of my portable computer", set it to "do nothing", then apply, you should be fine.

This I have done this already, the problem is just moving it a little causes shutdown. There is no problem closing (moving down) just expanding (moving outward) that this happens.

How long have you had your One? Sounds a little bit like something is shorting out when you open the lid so far. I can open mine till it hits its physical limit, with no adverse effects. Have you ever had it open for any mods or anything?
