Pics of my skin from 3acp!

I just wanted to post a couple of pics of the skin i bought from 3acp on ebay. unfortunately i didnt install it perfectly level but i think its good enough and i'm satisfied. i wanted a match wallpaper to go along with it so i took a pic of the lid skin and cropped and sized it in gimp and it came out pretty good as well for my first time using gimp.

 

That does look pretty slick. Did you get that custom then pay for it through ebay, or is a list of them to choose from?

 

its one of the pre-made ones they have listed on ebay. but i actually just remembered, i found it on ebay, then checked for it on amazon and they had it listed on there for a little less money, so i actually got it from their amazon store. you can also buy directly from their online store but i didnt realize it until afterward. http://www.3acp.com/3acp.htm

I was also looking at those skins but decided to go the route i did with my other laptop and get a simple stargate atlantis decal to dress the AAO up for use in the pegasus galaxy

 

i thought about doing just a decal, but the full skin provides lots of scratch protection though, so i went with it.

 

that skin and wallpaper effect reminds me of the movie hackers, which is damn cool

 

You guys reckon they could do a custom skin such as an Avenged Sevenfold design for a price? I wouldn't mind forking out if it meant they were able to skin my whole netbook with the design.

 

i think i saw on their website that you can ask for custom designs.

 

At first I was wondering why the hell you put the skin over your screen. :lol: Then I actually read your post and found out you made a matching background. That's pretty damn cool.

I got a 3acp skin, and added some embellishments

 

I'm another happy 3acp customer I was amazed how easy these skins go on!

also are you guys making the desktop background to fit with the border skin or do they give u a picture u can use?

 

Do these skins come off easy? I would hate to put one on if it's going to leave a lot of crap behind when peeled off.

 

Yep peel off very easy and can be used again, leave no mess, will probably tell you all this in the actual description within teh website so would advise having a look on there.

thik the hardest part is choosing what particular skin to go for !!!
