pidgin keeps disapearing

    i am using fedora 13 on my acer 532 when i installed pidgin it installed i saw its icon on the top then when i shut down and restart it does not appear in the internet folder nor is there a icon what should i do to install pidgin to the internet folder?

    Strange - it should be there. You might try the following:
    1. Boot to the GNOME desktop
    2. Press Alt-F2 to bring up a run dialog
    3. Type "pidgin" (without the quotes) in the dialog box and click on the Ok button
