    Microsoft are a little concerned, I've read somewhere that they have now reduced the OEM version of Windows XP to £11.50 but there's a number of restrictions ie single CPU, maximum memory etc. This allows ACER, ASUS to bundle XP on these low cost machines but they then still pay the higher XP price for the high end laptops.

    theyre only keeping win xp supported for these low cost netbooks. so i would hope for a reduction in price!
