I don't know if this has already been posted, but I had a look and couldn't see anything, so...

I've had my Aspire 1 for around a year now, and ever since I've had it, this problem has got steadily worse. Every time I use it, it used to be it could survive an hour easy, but after this it would simply cut out (even when the batter is fully charged), the power is still on, fan turning and power and wifi LED's still on, but the screen goes blank and it becomes totally unresponsive, apart from holding in the power button to turn it off, then it takes forever to turn back on again!
However, now, it barely lasts 20 minutes before this happens, I assume it's something to do with it overheating, but is there anything I can do to fix it?]

    Thanks in advance,
    M

Every netbook I believe has a 1 year warranty check your receipt and see if your in that time frame. I doubt if your going to get an answer for this on this website, although I would like to see one provided.

    Hi,

I agree it does sound like an overheating problem, I would defiantly try and see what warranty is left and get it looked at professionally. If you have a three cell battery you should be looking at about two and a half hours use before recharging, well this is what I get with two external USB HD connected and running.

    Regards
