...which came w/ Linpus Linux Lite preloaded on an 8GB solid state drive.

Please, is it possible to replace it with Windows XP Home Edition? If so, should I install it onto and run it from the SSD,

or should I install XP onto and run it from a flash drive?

    Which would be faster?

I apologise if this question has been posed before; I was born confused about certain matters in life, and I just need to be able to understand clearly.

I'd really appreciate any and all help and advice. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    Sincerely,

    UUUnicorn

It's possible, but probably will be unsatisfactory. Windows is demanding for the SSD/512Mb model. You could upgrade the RAM and install on an externally-mounted USB, but I imagine it would be cheaper to ask the vendor if he will exchange it for the Windows model. There's not a huge different in price.
