Why still no news on whether there'd be a black...

They'll be black. It shows black on the box of every One sold.

Gotta keep some ammunition in reserve: the netbook war has only just started.

    De gustibus non est disputandum.

I cannot imagine any colour I would like my laptot to be less than brown. I am a man and I'd still rather have a pink one with a Hello Kitty sticker on the lid than a brown one :) (although I dare say I would end up fighting over it with my daughter).

Perhaps they should bring out a slightly greeny yellow one - it would go perfectly with the LinPUS distro. (For those of you who are not native English speakers, pus is the infected yellow fluid that leaks out of spots and infected wounds.)

I think Acer is trying to move away from the "toy-looking" Asus EEE PCs that is coming in huge truck loads. I'm fine with the black, seashell white, blue, light pink, and brown that they have going---they look more upscale and even luxurious compared to other colors. If they add bright yellow, or bright red, then I think it will start to look like a toy.

I'm female and I absolutely *love* the blue. Wouldn't want any of the other colors :p

My girlfriend sayd the same and said the blue was more of a boy's choice.

I've been using this white One of her and am thinking about a blue One for myself... but this pearly whiteness has grown on me...

Blue or White... Black or Brown... hmm...

She allready filled it with stickers of monkeys (20 of them around the bezel!!! @_@ gotta take a picture tomorrow) and so, I think this is a good property sign of her... -_-U

For me it's either the black (if there is one and it's released in time), or else the black IdeaPad S10 for me. If I had to choose from the existing, I'd go for the white one.

Well, brown's out here in Singapore, but pink's only out in Hong Kong.

Here in the U.S., blue seems to be the fixation. I would've liked the white one, I think, just in theory maybe it would hide fingerprints/smudges better (assuming my hands aren't dirty ) :p

I can always bring a few white ones to the USA but they will not be inexpensive :)
