Power button not working

    I have an acer aspire one that I purchased in Dec 08.... it has worked great, but tonight the power button will not turn on the computer. If I plug the computer into the power charger, it will come on. If I have it up and running and remove the power cord, it shuts off. Any idea's whats up with this? Did the battery go out or something?
