    WinXP Home.

My power meter icon is gone from my taskbar and I'd like to get it back.

    Things I have tried:

    1) Reboot
    2) Taskbar properties - advanced - uncheck show icon. Apply - OK. RE-check. Apply - OK. Reboot.
    3) UNcheck 'show both batteries'. -EDIT- Reboot.

I still have no icon, I'm not sure it will warn me when power goes low.

Any help to get it back? What do I have to launch to start it myself?

Log out of your account, then log back in, see if it shows up.

OK - I got it. I noticed that I ALSO had no "Remove USB Device" icon, so I decided it might be a Taskbar problem.

Right-Clicked the taskbar - UNchecked "Lock The Taskbar" and logout/login and BOTH are working again.
