Power On Problem - AAO 8GB SSD

    Hi,

    I've been reading these forums since I bought my unit some months ago. I took the plunge today and upgraded to 1.5GB but sort of wish I hadn't.

    Everything went fine until I reassembled and powered on for the first time - the unit powered on but no display.

    Took it apart to check no trapped cables and reseated display cable.

    Unit now powers on but just sits at Acer BIOS screen - pressing F2 causes the screen to say "Please wait.." but goes no further.
    If I choose an alternative boot device, it just hangs at "Entering boot device selection menu..."

    Anyone have any ideas? I probably can't now return it to Acer but just would really appreciate some help.

    Try taking it apart again, removing the upgraded RAM module and turning the AAO back on. See what happens...
