Hi, I erased a previous post because I have found the real problem. The battery icon has disappeared from my systray and I can launch anything about this. I though it was only a problem of icons, but I have found that I don't have any program related with the battery.

Looking in the group-app.xml file I found that the icon call the package powercenter.desktop but I don't find any application related with that. I've looking for in /usr/share/applications/ and I don't find anything.

I think that this icon it's important becasue without it is difficult to know how charged it's your battery.

    Any help? Thanks and regards

    Hi,

I have been looking in xfce plugins and I have found a plugin for the battery, so at least I can see the level of charge of the battery.

Anyway I haven't found any information about powercenter.desktop. Can anyone tell me if has in the path usr/share/applications/ that package?

    Best regards and thanks

I'm having exactly the same problem. the icon doesn't work from the acer UI and it's nowhere to be found on my custom desktop. Linux is interesting to say the least :)

    Please help.

    Thanks.
