    I have an Asus A15.
Usually when I am done working I unplug the charger.
Yesterday, after I shut it down, I left it plugged in. Today, as I was about to turn it on, I noticed that the laptop was considerably warm to the touch. The majority of the heat was at the back where the heatsinks are.
This leaves me with the uncomfortable conclusion that either the CPU or GPU was generating heat (without the fans blowing). But it was shut down.

    What could cause this?
Is there a way to fix it?
