I'm not sure what you mean by 'can't find the buttons' - if you mean you can't find Powerpoint functions in OpenOffice, which ones? (I've recently started using Powerpoint 2007 at work, and I can't find most of the buttons either, being used to previous versions - but most of the functionality still seem to be there, albeit hidden behind that ****** ribbon...!).

If you need to use Powerpoint and can't adapt to OpenOffice, then you might look at running Powerpoint under Wine (see http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... ion&iId=13 for details of compatability). You may find that there is greater compatability if you use Crossover Office instead of Wine (http://www.codeweavers.com/).
