My power adapter (bought in the Middle East) says 'input 100-240V 50-60Hz.'

In which case it would work in the US or UK. Check the back of yours and see what it says......lots are auto ranging these days.

Most modern laptops have AUTOVOLT power bricks.... Our AAO is one of them. So yes. :D

bought my AAO in australia 2 weeks ago, the input label is the same 100-240V~ 50-60Hz
as such should work anywhere in the world with a "stable AC supply". I wouldn't try it on an inverter supply as not all of them are sine wave, don't try it on a DC supply.

p.s. the tilde ~ is an icon meaning AC when used on appliances
    :)

My AA1 could work from an invertor supply with no problem.
