I am very pleased with my Aspire One - I access my e-mails and the internet without any problem except that I cannot for neither love nor money connect my printer/scanner/copier (Canon MP210). PC World, Currys etc. seem to know even less than me about solving my difficulty. I would be happy to buy a new printer if I was sure that it would work with my Aspire One. Any ideas? I am 75yrs old so please be gentle with me!

    Best wishes

you dont say what operating system are you using, nor what happens when you connect the printer to your AAO.
have you installed the drivers from canon?
I am using an HP5280 and works no problem, however, its a network printer so its not phisically attached to the laptop..

    Have you tried this:

    http://localhost:631/

? It is the interface of the "CUPS" program, that takes care of printing in Linux.
