Printer for Aspire one, Linux Lite version?

    Does anyone know which printer is best suited to the Linuxs Lite version of the Aspire one and where to get the drives .

    The program that takes care of printers in Linux is called 'CUPS': Common Unix Printing System.
    It is installed on the One.
    It supports many printers, here is a list:

    Most samsung printers are designed to be linux friendly. That said, I've plugged in epsons and HPs too and didn't have problems.

    The above poster is right - all the drivers are already there included in the CUPS system for printing, so you don't need to do anything besides click the printer icon in Settings and let it do it's thing.

    To be sure though, I'd bring the laptop to the shop and try plugging it in to a few of the models you're considering.. it should be plug and play

    You might want to update cups:

    "sudo yum update cups" in a terminal window.
