I am completely new to Linux. Got AAO for Xmas and a samsung ML 2240 printer. Tried setting up printer using printer settings in AAO but it doesn't work and the Samsung ML 2240 doesn't appear in list of printers so the AAO sets it up with drivers for the ML 2250.
Have an external CD drive so I attached that and tried to install print drivers from the CD but got following error message:
"You are not authorized to uninstall this driver package. Only user with root privileges is allowed to do this. Uninstallation can not be completed now"
I have enabled the advanced menu on the AAO but not sure how that helps or what to do next.

Any ideas on how I get this printer to work with the AAO?

    thanks
