I'm having this problem as well. When I am asked to select the encryption type, there is nothing in the box. When I open the drop-down menu, there are no options, just a grayed out box with a horizontal bar through it. Any advice is much appreciated.

I have the same problem, and I really need access to uni wifi. Looks exactly like zsesea's. Ans no, I can't reset the uni's routers. Regardless, any help greatly appreciated.

I just got this problem solved thanks to another thread. The problem is that our universities are using WPA 2 Enterprise encryption, and the version of Network Manager that the One ships with can't handle it. Follow this link, and just follow the instructions there. Then everything ought to work just fine.
