Problem with my AA1 help me please :)

Hi Everyone

I wanted to know if anyone has any idea what might be wrong with my AA1... I was using it this evening and all of a sudden it turned itself off.

Now when I press the power button the power light comes on for 5 seconds and I can hear its starting up then it goes off.

I have taken the battery off and used the adapter but it does the same thing.

Does anyone have an idea of what it might be?

It has loads of my pics on there I hope I haven't lost them all

I really don't want to put it in the shop and get ripped off.

Sounds like you have the dreaded corrupted BIOS. If so, you will need re-flash the BIOS. There are many threads in the forum with instructions. Not difficult at all to repair but you will need to have a flash drive and download the latest BIOS version for your netbook from Acer.
