I have an Acer Aspire One Ive had since December its been working fine since today somthing wierd happend it seemed that my network manager is not working the problem seems to be when my acer aspire loads up the network manager does not auto connect to my wireless network though it keeps asking for my key when it trys to auto connect to the wireless network

Ive been into the connection manager preferences they seem to all be working if I deselect auto connect I tryed this then obviously it wont auto connect, but I did some research a little earlier on a different forum someone says my network manager is not saving the key or somthing

please could I have your suggestions or if you hvae had the same problem how can I solve this.

    thankyou

i havent got a acer aspire one yet.. and im not a master with linux but make sure your ip adress is on the same network as your router E.G (192.168.1.1=Router then pc would be 192.168.1.2 for example) then make sure subnet mask is the the same as what the router assigns normally it would be 255.255.255.0. If you dont succedd with this it could be the key that your router has assigned?? if it is a auto assigning key then make a key yourself. What is the router your using??
