I've taken a new AO751h-1346 and put Windows 7 on it. When I try to play back video I just get scrambled images -- for instance in playing the sample wildlife video in the default Windows 7 install. Now I am currently just using the default GMA 500 driver that windows installs from Windows update. Has anyone else seen this behavior or know what drivers need to be installed to fix this?

Sounds like you might have a codec issue. I'd install k-lite, reboot and then see if that resolves it.

Is the scrambling only during video playback, or does it happen when you try to do other stuff? (Might be a hardware issue...)

Maybe it is a driver issue. This is my 2nd AO751 from a different source so a hardware issue seems unlikely. I'll play with some codecs and different GMA 500 drivers and see if I can discover what the problem is.
